New Clinical Tools Available

We are pleased to be able to offer these new products and encourage UW affiliates to send feedback. It is important that we hear from users so we can provide the best products available.
  • AccessMedicine UW IP
    AccessMedicine Product Graphic Includes such respected publications as Harrison's Online, Current Medical Diagnosis & Treatment, Goodman & Gilman, the Lange series, and Harrison's On Hand; also guidelines, images, drug information, and patient handouts.
  • ACP's PIER : the Physician's Information and Education Resource Click for help UW IP

    A decision-support tool produced by the American College of Physicians (ACP) designed for rapid point-of-care delivery of evidence-based guidance for physicians.(part of the STAT!Ref Medical Reference Library)

  • InfoRetriever UW IP
    System of filtered, synopsized, evidence-based information available for handheld, desktop, or online. Includes InfoPOEMs and guidelines, clinical rules and calculators; 5-Minute Clinical Consult, etc. Note: Must register after downloading, or subscription will expire in 30 days.
  • ClinicalResource@Ovid trial at the UW UW IP
    Designed as a quick response medical knowledge system. Try out this potential resource and please complete the short survey.

  • HSL Storage Items on the Move
    Over the summer, HSL is moving over 1.5 miles of materials from on-site to off-site storage. While items are in transit, they will be temporarily unavailable. Once the materials are in their new home, they can be requested and delivered to HSL using the Request/Place Hold button in the UW Libraries Catalog record. Thank you for your patience during this time.
  • Pay HSL Document Services Invoices Online
    You can now pay your Health Sciences Libraries' invoices from Document Services online with either a Visa or Mastercard. Follow the Order Articles/Books link under the Help tab in Healthlinks. It's secure, fast and easy!
