This workshop is targeted toward junior faculty and senior postdoctoral
fellows, however, any UW investigator will benefit.
Grant examples are from real grant applications in clinical research
and a health services behavioral science grant. UW faculty and postdocs
from non-health-related fields are welcome to attend, but may find it
more challenging.

From A to $$: Getting Started with Grants
This one hour lecture-style class is designed to provide a broad overview of the grants process. Included in the discussion is common grant mechansims, funding, NIH, private foundations, and navigating the UW approval system. Finding Funding: Search Strategies for Success
This one hour hands-on class covers funding resources such as Computer Retrieval of Information on Scientific Projects (CRISP), and Community of Science (COS).
