Proteins

  • Protein Data Bank
RCSB. Primary database archive of experimentally determined three-dimensional structures of biological macromolecules
  • Robetta ROBETTA provides both ab initio and comparative models of protein domains. It uses the ROSETTA fragment insertion method [Simons et al. J Mol Biol 1997;268:209-225]. Comparative models are built from Parent PDBs detected by UW-PDB-BLAST, FFAS03, or 3DJury-A1 and aligned by the K*SYNC alignment method. Loop regions are assembled from fragments and optimized to fit the aligned template structure. The procedure is fully automated.
Provides both ab initio and comparative models of protein domains
  • Entrez Protein Database
The NCBI protein database derived from Swiss-Prot, PIR, PDB and translations of the GenBank sequence records.
  • Entrez Structures
NCBI. The NCBI database of NMR and x-ray crystalograph based 3D protein structures.
  • ENZYME
Enzyme nomenclature resource based on recommendations of the Nomenclature Committee of the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB). Includes live links to functional information and sequence data.
