Requesting items to be delivered to Harborview Medical Center

The K. K. Sherwood Library provides the UW Libraries' delivery service to HMC staff and faculty. Items are delivered to the library and users are notified to pick up their items within three days of delivery.

How it works

• Find the item in the UW Libraries Catalog
• Request the item using the "Request/Place Hold" button and your UW NETID
• Choose the pickup location "Health (KKS)"
• Items are delivered to Harborview every Tuesday and Thursday afternoons after 3 p.m.
• You will receive an email notice from HMC KKS Library when your item is ready for pick up
• The hold shelf is located in Room 104 (use your HMC badge to enter)
• If you are unable to pick up your items within three days, please let us know
• Items may be returned to the book drop in the entry way of the East Wing of HMC (on 9th Ave.)
