Requesting items to be delivered to Harborview Medical

The K. K. Sherwood Library provides the UW Libraries' delivery service to HMC staff and faculty. Items are delivered to a secure location near the library and users are notified to pick up their items at their convenience.

How it works

• Find the item in the UW Libraries Catalog or Summit Catalog
• Request the item using the "Request/Place Hold" button and your UW NET ID
• Choose the pickup location "HMC KKS"
• Items are delivered to Harborview every Tuesday and Thursday afternoons
• The first time you place a hold, we send you an email authorization form enabling us to check items out to you and place them in the designated pick-up location
• Once we receive your email authorization, we deposit the items for pick up and send you a message that includes the access code for the secure storage location
• If you are unable to pick up your items within three days, please let us know
• Items may be returned to the book drop in the entry way of the East Wing of HMC (on 9th Ave.)
