Color Printing and Photocopying
at the HSL
Color printing and photocopying are now available in the Microlab
within the Health Sciences Library on the third floor of the T wing.
All computers on either floor of the Health Sciences Library can print
to the color printer. Copicards purchased using a budget number are
assessed at $0.63 per page and non-budget and cash at $0.90 per page
for either printing or photocopying. For more information, see /hsl/colorprinting.html
Use PubMed Title Abbreviations in
HealthLinks
You can now type (or copy and paste from the PubMed record) the
official PubMed Title Abbreviation, e.g. N Engl J Med, instead of the
full title into the HealthLinks search box to locate electronic
journals in HealthLinks. This feature is especially useful for those
titles which do not display the purple UW Article Online button. The
Health Sciences Libraries also have many other titles both
electronically and in print. To search for those titles you must type
the full journal title into the HealthLinks search box or the Libraries
Catalog. You can use the PubMed Journal Browser to determine the full
title of any journal in PubMed.
