Crisis in Context: Human Dimensions
The University of Washington Libraries has put together resources to assist research into the tragedies of September 11, 2001.  The health section is http://www.lib.washington.edu/about/sept11/human.html.
Topics include Coping with Trauma, Chemical and Biological Terrorism, Blood Donations, General Medical Preparedness, What to Say to Children, and General Information.  The site will continue to be updated.  See the announcement below regarding our HealthLinks November Front Page for further bioterrorism information.

Manage Your UW Email List Subscriptions
Computing and Networking has set up a website for you to be able to subscribe to selected UW email lists.  HSL-News is pleased to be one of the sites for this launch.  You will be asked to authenticate with your UW NetID at http://www.washington.edu/computing/listproc/online/.
You will find the HSL-News description and boxes to subscribe under two headings:  Health, and UW Departments.  Take a look at their new site and let them know what you think.

Research Funding Service Noontime Grants Discussion on November 14
RFS is sponsoring a noontime grants event, "How to Prepare a Budget."  It is a discussion series presented from 12 P.M. to 1 P.M., Nov. 14, in the South Campus Center, Rooms 242/246.  No registration is required.  To be notified of future sessions, phone (206) 685-8036 or send email to rfs@u.washington.edu.
