FUTURE DIRECTIONS FOR LIBRARIES COLLECTIONS

The UW Libraries is soliciting faculty input on the future directions
of Libraries collections and services, and invites you to participate in
an upcoming focus group. There will be a brief presentation on
collections issues and trends, including the increase in access to
electronic materials, shifts in the scholarly publication process, and
opportunities for cooperative purchases with other libraries. The majority
of the time will be devoted to your responses: your feedback is important
to us! Please note that lunch will be served to session participants.

Two focus group sessions are scheduled:
Wednesday, February 28, 12:30-2 in OUGL 320
Thursday, March 1, 12:30-2 Room 342 South Campus Center

If you are interested in participating, please indicate which session
you'd like to attend, and send a message to Diane
Rosolowskydhr@u.washington.edu) by Monday, February 26th. Confirmation of
your participation will be confirmed prior to the session.
