Loansome Doc allows users to order copies of articles after searching PubMed. University of Washington students, staff, and faculty should use the instructions below. Separate, instructions are available for Non-UW affiliates, (including UW alumni), within the U.S. and Canada or outside the U.S. and Canada.
To ensure prompt processing of your document requests, it is crucial that you read the following information completely and follow all instructions to complete the Loansome Doc registration process.
- Fees are associated with ordering. For more information about fees, see Document Services and Fees.
- You must identify yourself as a UW affiliate and give your Department or you will be charged at the Non-UW price which is much higher. Use the Comments to Library field to give special billing information, such as your budget number. If no special billing information is given, you will be invoiced monthly.
- The Authorization Code for the University of Washington Health Sciences Libraries is WAUWAS.
- UW-affiliates do not need to specify a Max Cost per Article. All services have a fixed rate depending on payment methods. Please consult our price list for details.
- Your Loansome Doc requests will be imported into our request management database, ILLiad. You will be sent an email with your ILLiad account login and password which you will use to access the articles you ordered. Note: This login is different than your Loansome Doc login.
