Additional study areas are located at the South Campus Center. Study rooms are available to students, at no charge, for groups of 4 or more. Room Reservation Instructions For Library Users
- Groups of two or more UW students, faculty or staff may reserve rooms. Individuals or non-UW affiliates may use the study rooms, but may be asked to leave by groups with reservations.
- Rooms may be reserved up to 4 hours at a time and up to 7 days in advance. Only in-person reservations will be accepted.
- There is a single reservation sheet for each day. Put a line through the time slot for the room you wish to reserve and label with the name of your group.
Please Be Considerate
- Study rooms are a limited resource. There are many people who want to use them—especially during midterms and finals. Please don't monopolize them.
- Since food and uncovered drinks are not allowed anywhere in the library, please plan your meal breaks and schedule your room accordingly.
- If you decide to leave early, please cross out your reservation.
- Groups who leave reserved study rooms empty for more than 15 minutes may lose their reservations. If you know a room has been empty for more than 15 minutes, you may cross out the reservation and make your own. Please leave a note saying why you crossed out the reservation and what time it was.
- PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BELONGINGS UNATTENDED. They can't be used to hold your room and may be stolen.
- Please settle any disputes over room reservations among yourselves.
