Equipment should be replaced on an as-needed basis. If the station is having problems and is obsolete, it should be replaced. I don't know if a staggered 4-year rotation is necessarily the best timing. It may be too soon or too late depending on the pace of technology and the condition of the equipment (ie. lots of use, and it breaks down.

These workstations are located in the Health Sciences Library, outside of the Microlab, and are used for database searching, accessing online journals and other research-related functions.

Question 5: Would you support spending STF funds on screen reading software such as JAWS (http://www.freedomscientific.com/fs_products/software_jaws.asp)? In addition to allowing vision impaired students to hear web pages, JAWS would give student web authors the opportunity to test their pages for accessibility using real-life experience rather than validators.
