How to Save An Article from Health Sciences Libraries' Public Terminals
- Find the journal or database.

- Find the article.
For help on finding articles view our How to Find Articles on a Topic page
- Save the article to "My Documents".
Library Public Terminals reset after 30 minutes of inactivity, the "My Documents" folder is the only place on the computer where saved documents will not be deleted when the terminal resets.
- If you are a UW affiliate with a UW NetID, then either:
- Use the File Transfer shortcut on the desktop to move the file to Dante (for UW students), Homer (for UW faculty and staff), or Aagaard (for clinical faculty).

- Or, use Webpine to email yourself the file
- If you are a UW affiliate without a UW NetID, or a general public user then either:
- Move the file to a USB memory stick you have attached to the machine
- Or, use any web-based email service to email yourself the file (e.g., Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, etc.)
