This assignment builds on the site evaluation information developed by
Janet Schnall for the lab tutorial. In addition to her questions, please
answer the following when evaluating your WWW site of the week.

1. Find a site you would find useful for your clinical practice that you
would want to save with a bookmark. Give the address so we can go to the
site. After placing the address on your paper double check on whether it
is correct by seeing if you can find the site by entering the address

2. Author:

Is the author clearly identified? What are their credentials?
Institutional affiliation? What authority does the author have to write
about the subject? Based on the answers to these questions about
authorship, what is your judgement about the appropriateness of the
author?

3. Content:

How accurate is the information included?
Is the information objectively presented?
How comprehensive is the coverage of the topic?
How does information compare with other sources on the topic?
Based on your answers to these questions, what is you judgment about he
quality of the content

4. Currency:

How current is the information?
Is the information dated?
In your judgment, is the information current enough?

5. Structure:

How is the site organized?
Does a large site have an internal search engine?
In your judgment, is the structure useful?

6. Stability

How accessible is the site?
Is the server reliable?
In your judgment, how good is the accessibility?

7. What is your overall evaluation of this site?
