EndNote Web
What is EndNote Web?
- A web-based program that allows you to store, edit, and manage up to 10,000 citations.
- Citations from many databases may be imported into your online account from saved files of citations, directly from a limited number of databases, or manually.
- Works with Microsoft Word (requires free Cite While You Write plug-in) to allow you to automatically create in-text citations and bibliographies in a choice of over 1,300 publishing styles.
- Allows online sharing of EndNote Web folders of citations for collaborative projects.

For help with using EndNote Web to format documents, refer to the video tutorials in the Related Links section. If you are using a UW WORD Dissertation Template, we encourage you to use the desktop version of EndNote, saving your file often.
Other Support
Note: Although some online vendors such as Eureka and Lexis-Nexis do not support EndNote citation importing, records from these vendors can be entered manually. |
