  • COS Expertise UW IP
COS Expertise is an established database consisting of profiles created by researchers, scholars, and other experts at institutions from around the world. Locate experts by name, institution, geographical region, keywords, and more. Use it to compare profiles, find potential collaborators, or locate prospective peer reviewers.

In addition, once you create your COS Profile, you can use it to:

    • Create a curriculum vitae (CV) using COS Quick Form
    • Locate funding opportunities using keywords generated from your profile
    • Easily generate a biographical sketch for federal grant applications
  • ResearcherID UW IP
ResearcherID is a new Thomson Scientific web product that allows researchers to create and build profiles to showcase their work. Each researcher is assigned a unique ID, which helps to eliminate author misidentification.

    With ResearcherID, you can:

    • Obtain personal metrics for works added to your profile from Web of Science
    • Explore graphs and interactive maps of collaborator networks using the Labs feature
    • Find potential research collaborators
