Navigating HealthLinks is now easier with new drop-down menus. The same links are available - plus additional ones - in a more compact, and better organized, package.

Where did your favorite buttons go?

  • How-To is in the Help Menu
  • Library Services plus the Library Catalog, the UW Libraries, and the Regional Medical Library are in the Library Menu

    Millions of news photographs dating back to 1826, and more than one million audio sound bytes dating from the 1920's, among other digital resources.
  • AccessMedicine UW IP
    The BCR AccessMedicine Collection includes access to several textbooks and the Lange Educational Library. Click the search option for Images, Video & Audio.
  • Images.MD UW IP
    Over 50,000 medical images covering clinical medicine. The "slide sets" feature is temporarily unavailable; we have contacted the publisher, 5/5/08.
  • MD Consult Click for help UW IP
    Select Images (from Books) as a Search Option.
  • NCBI Map Viewer
    Directly view DNA sequences/genes in the context of chromosome structures for all higher organisms.

  • HSL Storage Items on the Move
    Over the summer, HSL is moving over 1.5 miles of materials from on-site to off-site storage. While items are in transit, they will be temporarily unavailable. Once the materials are in their new home, they can be requested and delivered to HSL using the Request/Place Hold button in the UW Libraries Catalog record. Thank you for your patience during this time.
  • Pay HSL Document Services Invoices Online
    You can now pay your Health Sciences Libraries' invoices from Document Services online with either a Visa or Mastercard. Follow the Order Articles/Books link under the Help tab in Healthlinks. It's secure, fast and easy!
