Tuesday, April 11, 2006, or 4-11, is "Medical Information Day". The observance recognizes the invaluable information and vast range of services medical librarians provide for their institutions and local communities.

UW iSchool tied for #3 in health librarianship programs
- UW School of Medicine ranked #1 school for training primary-care physicians and in Family Medicine and Rural Health programs.
- Other UW physician education and training programs ranked among the top 10 were: AIDS (4), womens health (6), internal medicine (6), geriatrics (7), and pediatrics (10).

- HSL Storage Items on the Move
Over the summer, HSL is moving over 1.5 miles of materials from on-site to off-site storage. While items are in transit, they will be temporarily unavailable. Once the materials are in their new home, they can be requested and delivered to HSL using the Request/Place Hold button in the UW Libraries Catalog record. Thank you for your patience during this time.
