HealthLinks
What does the HealthLinks search include?
- Journals, books, databases, and other resources included in the HealthLinks website, but not the content of the resources (for instance, articles within journals and databases are not searched).
- HealthLinks pages and UW Health Sciences Libraries' created documents (for instance, tutorials and information sheets).
- Exact title matches are displayed first in the Best Bets box. Other results are listed alphabetically.
How do I search?
- Phrase searching is the default.
- Single word or phrase searches are automatically truncated: cell finds cells, cellular, etc.
- Search is not case-sensitive.
PubMed

- Searches for titles of electronic journals owned by the UW Health Sciences Libraries, but not for articles within a journal.
- Searches titles words or phrases as well as MEDLINE title abbreviations.

eJournals & Journals
- Performs keyword search of HealthLinks eJournals and journal title search of Library Catalog simultaneously.
Library Catalog Titles

- Searches for title words of items cataloged in ithe UW Libraries Catalog.
