A New Kind of Library Catalog
The UW Libraries is participating in a pilot project with the Online Library Computer Center (OCLC) to test a new kind of library catalog. The goal is to provide users with a single search and request service that covers:
- The UW Libraries Catalog
- Summit Catalog (Oregon & Washington academic libraries shared catalog)
- WorldCat.org (resources in libraries around the world)
- Citations for articles included in: ~ ERIC (education); ~ MEDLINE (medicine and health); ~ GPO (U.S. government publications); and ~ ArticleFirst (articles from journals in all subjects)
