Redesigned PubMed Interface
The
PubMed interface has been redesigned. While retaining the robust functionality,
the interface has changed with the intent of making it easier to use.
- UPDATE (February 2010) More revisions to Advanced Search and Limits. See the Technical Bulletin article for more information.
- PubMed has a new look! summarizes the changes and includes a table of where things have moved. For more details on the changes see the NLM Technical Bulletin article.
- The revised PubMed at the UW page gives step-by-step help on searching. HSL will update our videos in the next month.
- Contact your library liaison to help you master the new system or to arrange a training session.

- New Revisions to Pubmed
Starting February 2 additional revisions to Advanced Search and Limits have been made to PubMed. See the Technical Bulletin article for details.
- Open Access Database of Bioactive Molecules and Targets
Formerly only available to the private sector, ChEMBLdb provides information on bioactive drug-like small molecules and structure-activity-relationships (SAR) with potential targets.
- UW Libraries Expands Journal Content
Last week the UW Libraries began to offer access to substantially increased journal content from Elsevier, both current and older titles. Of note for HSL is the increased number of ScienceDirect titles to 2000. Click on the title of this article for more details.
